For 3 C’s Award winner Michael O’Neill, skiing has always been a family affair. He and his wife, Anne, started skiing with their four children 18 years ago at Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain, Pennsylvania.
PSIA-AASI National Academies attendees packed the Yellowstone Conference Center at Big Sky, Montana, last month, to honor some of the true pioneers and rising stars of U.S. ski and snowboard instruction, including Deb Armstrong, who received the Distinguished Service Award.
PSIA-AASI’s largest national event of the year kicked off Monday, April 15, at Montana’s Big Sky Resort. The annual, weeklong gathering provides an opportunity for instructors from all levels, all disciplines, and all parts of the country to gather for on- and off-snow education, inspiration, and networking.
