Connecting With Power and Grace


For the 2025 summit, we are excited to welcome influential, experienced industry leaders to the event. Dee Byrne, recently retired President and COO of Palisades Tahoe and past PSIA-AASI National Team Member, will be the keynote speaker. Dee has reached the highest level of achievement as an instructor, manager, and leader. She will share some of what she has learned about how her gender has shaped those experiences.

2025 Event Schedule

Women’s Summit kicks off Sunday with check-in and refreshments starting at 5:00 PM, followed by the keynote. There will be a cocktail party on Monday with a cash bar and a panel discussion about gear choices on Tuesday evening.

Ski or ride with your assigned group in the mornings from 9:00 AM to Noon. On Monday and Tuesday afternoons, choose from sessions on gear, personal performance, and coaching. The event concludes Wednesday by 2:00 PM.

  • 5:00-6:00 PM: Registration and cocktails
  • 6-6:30 PM: Welcome!
  • 6:30-7:30 PM: Keynote
  • 7:30-8:00 PM: Meet the coaches and receive group assignments

9:00 AM to Noon: On hill or trails with group
12:00-1:00 PM: Lunch on own
1:00-4:00 PM: Demos available. On-snow and indoor options TBD.
4:30-6:30 PM: Après at Last Chance Lodge with cocktails and light refreshments (dinner on own)

Evening session: The Effect of Gear on Career Growth and Development, a panel discussion.

7:30 AM: Early ups, hosted by Solitude. Meet at base of Apex lift at 7:15.

9:00 AM to 1:00 PM: On hill or trails + lunch with group

2:00 PM: Groups gather at base of Apex Lift for a fun wrap-up and sendoff.

  • The Solitude Nordic Center is easily accessible from the Solitude Village and supports both classic and skate.
  • Solitude is just 34 miles from the Salt Lake City Airport

PSIA-AASI Women’s Council for Equity and Inclusion

The mission of the Women’s Council for Equity and Inclusion is to invest in women through educational programming, women’s events, financial support and mentoring at the local, regional and national levels. It also acts as the visionary steering group for creating opportunities for women in leadership in PSIA-AASI and the greater snowsports industry. This group helped revive the women’s summit as a national event, and is actively working with schools and instructors to collect data, develop resources and programs, and guide and inform PSIA-AASI efforts.
