National Scholarships
Applications for most 2025-26 national scholarships have closed.
Professional development access and affordability are crucial for our members to build careers in snowsports education. PSIA-AASI scholarships can help you attend an event, obtain a certification or specialist credential, or gain access to special educational opportunities.
In 2024, PSIA-AASI awarded 149 scholarships totaling $64,000. Stay tuned for the 2025 recipients, to be announced in winter. See past the recipients, here.

Adaptive Education Scholarship
This scholarship program awards members and non-members with funds to pursue an adaptive certification. These scholarships help offset expenses related to preparing for and attending an adaptive certification during the season.

This scholarship program awards members and non-members with funds to pursue certification or specialist education. These scholarships help offset expenses related to preparing for and attending a certification or specialist credential during the season.
FALKE x PSIA-AASI Education Scholarship
TAKING APPLICATIONS THROUGH DECEMBER. FALKE and PSIA-AASI want to empower emerging snowsports educators by providing high-performance gear and financial support that enhances their professional development, fosters community leadership, and elevates the standard of instruction across the country. This scholoarship celebrates the intersection of technical excellence, wellness, and movement—core values shared by FALKE and PSIA-AASI.
Nancy Oakes Hall Women’s Scholarship
Founded by former PSIA Alpine Team Member (1992-96) Nancy Oakes Hall, this scholarship enables women who are members of PSIA-AASI to advance their skills and seek leadership roles in the industry.
National Academy (Alpine) + Rider Rally Event Scholarships
(Apply beginning October 1) PSIA-AASI would like to welcome six members to attend National Academy Alpine or Rider Rally on us! This new scholarship provides free registration to three alpine skiers and three snowboarders for the April 2026 event. Must be current members with at least a relevant Level I certification.
Small Snowsports School Scholarship
This scholarship is for PSIA-AASI Member Schools around the U.S. with not more than 150 staff members. The award provides access to educational events and education leaders, such as PSIA-AASI National Team members, who provide experiences that may be career-changing.
Veteran Workforce Scholarship
In partnership with the 10th Mountain Division Foundation, this scholarship program provides veterans and active military personnel with education opportunities that support the transition to careers in the outdoor industry. PSIA-AASI membership is not required to apply.
Women of Winter + PSIA-AASI Scholarship
APPLICATIONS CLOSED. Women of Winter, the National Brotherhood of Snowsports (NBS), and PSIA-AASI partnered to offer 12 scholarships to their membership to obtain a PSIA-AASI Alpine or Snowboard Level I Certification.

For the past eight years, the 30-year PSIA-AASI member thought about obtaining her Alpine Level III certification, but she needed a little extra incentive. That encouragement would come in the form of a couple PSIA-AASI scholarships.
