National Academy 2024: Becoming Inspirational in Snowsports Teaching

PSIA-AASI’s largest national event of the year kicked off Monday, April 15, at Montana’s Big Sky Resort. The annual, weeklong gathering provides an opportunity for instructors from all levels, all disciplines, and all parts of the country to gather for on- and off-snow education, inspiration, and networking.

What Is the PSIA-AASI National Team?

PSIA-AASI National Team Selection 2024 will take place Sunday, April 21, through Friday, April 26, in Big Sky, Montana, with dozens of talented, experienced snowsports instructors from across the country competing for a spot on the 2024-28 team.

PSIA-AASI & Penn State Collaborate on Snowsports Instruction Program

Penn State University announced today the official January 2024 launch of its new Professional Snowsports Education Certificate Program. Created over nearly seven years of collaboration with the Professional Ski Instructors of America and American Association of Snowsports Instructors (PSIA-AASI), this program will introduce students to the fundamentals – People, Teaching, and Technical skills – of American snowsports instruction.
