why attend?

Ride. Engage. Progress.

Rider Rally at Copper is an opportunity to shred big terrain in a supportive environment with members of the AASI National Team, learn from and network with your peers both on- and off-mountain, stay up on innovations shaping our industry, grow your community, demo new equipment, and get inspired.

Founded as a grassroots event in 2000 by National Team snowboard members, Rider Rally is celebrating its 25th anniversary by fully embracing its roots of being for snowboarders, by snowboarders.

Rider Rally is designed to highlight the social and fun aspects of the snowboard culture. This will be a rider-driven event, based on the needs of our participants and the conditions of the day.

Whether you just got your Level I or have been a big-mountain guide for decades, there’s something for everyone. You will leave the event a better rider and a better instructor!

Bringing Back Snowboard Radness for the 25th Anniversary

Learn all about Rider Rally and get stoked to attend by listening to this short episode of First Chair, the PSIA-AASI podcast. Eric Rolls, the technical coach for the AASI Snowboard Team, joined us to discuss the history of the event, which dates back to the 1999/2000 season, and why the AASI Snowboard Team wanted to celebrate 25 years by returning to the standalone format. We hope to see you there!

Welcome CASI National Team Members

We’re excited to welcome a few members of the Canadian National Team to Rider Rally in April 2025! Similar to PSIA-AASI in America, Canada has a similar organization – the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI). Registering for Rider Rally means you get to ride and learn from some international greats. Meet the CASI Team members who are joining Rider Rally 2025.

She has a wealth of industry experience managing CASI certification courses, building resort relationships, training new and existing snowboard instructors and leading the Evaluator team both on and off the snow.

Breen Trott
