The SSEF Devo Program Coach Trainer reports directly to the Devo Program Director and works closely with the Devo Team Manager and Devo Lead Coaches. This role serves as a mentor, educator, and primary resource for Devo Coaches throughout the season, and is central to building and sustaining a high-quality, consistent coaching culture across the entire Devo program.

The Coach Trainer is responsible for supporting the continued growth and effectiveness of the coaching staff by leading coach education, movement analysis, training methodology, and deepening coaches’ understanding of the skills, behaviors, and competencies athletes need to successfully advance into Alpine, Freeride, and other advanced SSEF programs.
Working hand-in-hand with the Devo Program Director, the Coach Trainer helps implement the vision, philosophy, and standards for coach development across the program — observing coaches during training sessions, providing structured feedback, delivering mentorship, and creating professional development opportunities that strengthen coaching consistency, elevate the athlete experience, and advance overall program quality.
