Ski School Children’s Supervisor

The Children’s Ski Program Supervisor will manage the operation of the Children’s Program and report to the Ski School Director.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operational plan for the children’s lesson programs.
• Collaborate with ski school supervisors to schedule and staff daily programs, based on the business requirements.
• Set-up and supervise a check-in and pick-up area for where lesson assignments will be made.
• Will oversee the lunch program for full-day participants.
• Will provide training for both new and returning instructors in cooperation with the training supervisor.
• Collaborate with supervisors to create a terrain garden teaching area that will be a teaching tool for all instructors.
• Will provide a program that is based on the PSIA teaching principles and fundamentals.
• Monitor the quality and content of all lessons and provide training that addresses the developmental needs of children.
• Will collaborate with the supervisors and sales team on all ski school products and programs to provide an exceptional experience for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
• PSIA certification or equivalent professional teaching experience.
• Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
• Experience with Windows based computer programs.
• Experience in stages of growth and development of children.
• Must be flexible with work schedule including weekends and holidays.

Working Environment:

• Subject to working in a crowded, fast paced environment, long periods of walking and standing, indoors and outdoors, with adverse weather conditions.
