Work & Play where people Vacay! Gore Mountain Resort is looking for hardworking team players who enjoy the outdoors, and teaching.
Essential Functions:
- Instruct Group and Private lessons of varying abilities, covering all age groups.
- Make continued efforts to improve skiing/riding skills, teaching skills, and technical knowledge.
- Assist students with proper equipment use and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with your students, parents, staff, and the public.
- Follow the Responsibility Code and ensure guest safety on varied terrain.
- Participate in all required and additional training clinics.
- Setting up / tearing down of learning area, as assigned.
- Providing a consistently friendly, fun, safe, caring, and compassionate guest experience.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Must have reliable winter transportation.
- Possess and maintain a high level of responsibility and reliability.
- PSIA/AASI Certifications and Youth Certification/Credentials are preferred but not required.
- Ski or Snowboard instruction experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to Ski or Snowboard at an intermediate level.
- Must have good, effective, and respectful communication skills in the workplace at all times.
- Excellent Customer service skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.

Pay Scale: Sliding Scale Based on Certifications starting at $15.45 + Incentives (Groups and Privates)
