Snow Start: A Welcoming Mountain Experience for Mandarin-Speaking Guests
Join us this winter for Snow Start, a new ski and snowboard program designed specifically for Mandarin-speaking guests who are new to skiing and snowboarding or looking to build confidence on beginner terrain.
More than just a lesson, Snow Start creates an opportunity to learn, connect, and enjoy the mountain experience alongside a welcoming community. Participants are invited to an optional Friday evening Snow Start Welcome Reception, where they can meet fellow guests and instructors, pick up rental equipment, and conveniently store gear at the gondola. The evening concludes with an opportunity to gather around the fire, enjoy s’mores, and relax with champagne or sparkling cider in Northstar Village.
On Saturday, participants will come together for a full-day group ski or snowboard lesson taught entirely in Mandarin by experienced Mandarin-speaking instructors. Guests will learn foundational skills in a supportive and encouraging environment while building confidence and making lasting connections both on and off the mountain.
Program Details:

Instruction provided entirely in Mandarin
Full-day group lesson
Optional Friday evening Snow Start Welcome Reception
