About being the Private & Adaptive Lesson Supervisor

Our “indie” resort has Private and Adaptive Lessons offered during daily operations from around Thanksgiving through May 2, 2026. We also operate our own in-house Adaptive Lesson Program for lesson guests with physical, visual and cognitive impairments. We have a team of dedicated and passionate instructors to meet the needs of our Private Lesson and Adaptive Lesson guests.

The Private & Adaptive Lesson Supervisor will provide supervision and support of the Private and Adaptive lesson operations as well as coordination of the lesson reservation experience including following up with lesson requests via phone and email, taking payments over the phone, scheduling instructors, reviewing instructor timesheets and supervising the Private and Adaptive Lesson on-snow operations.

The Private and Adaptive Lesson Supervisor will also work closely with the Communications Supervisor and Guest Services supervisor, who are part of the Guest Services team, as needed regarding these lesson products.

Qualifications

  • You must be 18 years of age or older
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are proficient in Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • You have strong organizational skills and can advance several projects simultaneously
  • You are comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business and can commit to working weekends and holidays during the season typically Wednesday – Sunday from 8AM to 4PM
  • You are ideally a Level I or higher certified instructor with at least one season working for a snowsports school
  • You also love teaching skiing and snowboarding and are ready, willing, and able to pitch in as needed
  • You are comfortable working with adult and youth lesson guests in a dynamic environment
  • You are friendly, approachable, and passionate about creating a peak day experience for our instructor team and guests.
  • You love skiing or snowboarding in all kinds of conditions – we have over 400” of annual snowfall with one of the longest seasons in North America
