National Academy (Alpine) + Rider Rally Event Scholarships

PSIA-AASI would like to welcome six members to attend National Academy (Alpine) or Rider Rally on us! This new scholarship provides free registration to three alpine skiers and three snowboarders for the April 2026 event. Must be current members with at least a relevant Level I certification.

2026 Event Applications CLOSED

For the 2026 event, there are three (3) scholarships available for snowboarders to attend Rider Rally and three (3) for alpine skiers to attend National Academy. We hope to offer additional scholarships for other disciplines in the future.

The scholarship covers the event registration fee (a $1699 value) plus lift tickets for the week, and is intended for current PSIA-AASI members with a certification. Lodging, transportation, and some meals are not included. See additional important details below.

How to Apply

  • Review scholarship funding.

  • Review the application materials.
  • The deadline to submit is Saturday, November 1, 2025. Scholarships will be announced in early December.
APPLICATION PERIOD CLOSED

  • Each scholarship recipient receives one free entry for themselves into the five-day 2026 Rider Rally or 2026 National Academy (alpine). Some meals are provided, but not all. Value $1699.
  • Scholarships also cover event lift tickets for the entire week.
  • Scholarships do not cover travel or extra meals. Scholarships also do not cover lodging, but discounted options will be shared with attendees closer to the event date.
  • Scholarships are non-transferrable. You may not gift it to someone else or delay it to 2027. If you are unable to use it, we will award it to someone else who can and you may apply again the following year.
  • At this time, scholarships are not available for telemark, adaptive, or cross-country events.

  • Be a current PSIA-AASI member.
  • Have an Alpine Level I or Snowboard Level I certification, at minimum.

Applicants must supply the following materials to complete the application:

  1. A one-page cover letter. Please share how this opportunity will be used support your future in snowsports education and the broader snowsports education community.
  2. A letter of endorsement from your current or former snowsports supervisor or manager.

  • Applying for a scholarship is NOT considered registering for the event.
  • Please register ASAP if your attendance is not dependent on being awarded a scholarship.
  • Only individuals who are awarded scholarships will automatically be registered for the event.
  • If you apply for a scholarship and don’t get it, you can cancel your registration for a full refund (as long as you do it prior to the cancellation deadline).
