The Why

BIPOC women and girls are the most excluded and underrepresented demographic in snowsports. Women of Winter is a group of diverse women in snowsports that want to see a change in our industry.

Many BIWOC/LGBTQIA+ individuals are now teaching, volunteering, and growing professionally in the snowsports industry. The Women of Winter x PSIA-AASI Level II Prep Clinic is Women of Winter’s next investment in that community.

Level II requires a higher level of technical performance, preparation, and professional development. This program is designed to provide participants with focused training, mentorship, and ongoing community support, as they work toward that next level of certification.

Access to Level II preparation can vary widely across regions, especially for instructors working at smaller resorts. This program helps provide structured preparation, mentorship, and a strong community of peers and coaches.

The goal is simple: help more women successfully advance to Level II certification and continue making a lasting impact in the snowsports and outdoor Industry.
