PSIA Cross Country Academy is an annual gathering of the country’s best Nordic instructors from across the United States. It is an opportunity to improve your skate and classic techniques, enhance your teaching abilities, learn from and network with your peers, stay up on innovations shaping our industry, grow your community, demo new equipment, and get inspired.

Cross Country Academy is an intimate and personalized event. Whether you have been a Nordic coach for decades or are a member interested in obtaining your first XC certification, this event is designed to make you a better skier and a better instructor. Academy offers something for everyone with multiple daily clinics across various skill levels plus plenty of time to network and demo new skis. Current and former National Team members help shape the agenda and coach on-snow sessions.

Event is only open current to PSIA-AASI members. XC certification not required.

  • A sample day includes morning and afternoon on-snow coaching sessions with both skate and classic electives, lunch on your own, and an afternoon educational session or waxing demo followed by a networking dinner.

About Mt. Bachelor, Oregon


Mt. Bachelor Nordic Center in Bend, Oregon, is home to the longest groomed Nordic season in the U.S. and incredible spring skiing. The ski area features 56km of groomed trails, 95 percent of which are intermediate-advanced. With over 400 inches of annual snowfall per season and an elevation above 6,000 feet, we are hopeful for great conditions.
