Dear Members,
As we look to the future of PSIA-AASI, we remain committed to empowering instructors, enriching educational opportunities, and expanding access to our profession. Today, we want to share an exciting development that represents a significant step forward in achieving these goals.
We are initiating the search for the inaugural PSIA-AASI Education Foundation Director—a pivotal new role that will shape the future of the national foundation and its ability to serve you, our members.
In 2024, the national PSIA-AASI Education Foundation awarded 149 scholarships totaling $64,000 to instructors across the country. This remarkable impact reflects only a glimpse of what’s possible when we align philanthropic resources with our mission. With a dedicated fundraising professional at the helm, we will elevate our capacity to:
- Expand scholarships and financial support for members at all levels, including those from underrepresented backgrounds
- Advance adaptive, digital, and inclusive learning platforms to reach more instructors in more ways
- Grow and sustain elite-level educational programs that define excellence in snowsports instruction
- Build a lasting philanthropic culture that supports the long-term vitality of our profession.
This new position represents more than a hire—it’s a commitment to professionalizing our fundraising, activating broader donor engagement, and creating a sustainable foundation for educational innovation and equity.
As the first development leader of the national PSIA-AASI Education Foundation, the new director will lay the groundwork for long-term funding strategies that support thousands of instructors nationwide and directly fuel our mission to deliver extraordinary education. With your support and involvement, we will deepen our collective impact across the industry.
Thank you for being a part of this journey and for everything you do to elevate the profession. We look forward to sharing more updates as we move forward in building a stronger, more inclusive, and better-resourced future together.
