PSIA-AASI Official Supplier Phunkshun Wear’s “Design Your Winter” wearable art contest winners were announced today.

Sarah Manning, an Alpine Level II instructor who teaches at Northstar, in North Lake Tahoe, California, was named the “People’s Choice” winner, and Heidi Goodwin an Alpine Level II and Telemark Level I instructor who teaches at Mammoth Mountain Sports School, in Mammoth Lakes, California, was named the “Phunkshun Wear” winner.

PSIA-AASI Members’ Creativity on Display

Now in its third year, this interactive competition creates a unique opportunity for PSIA-AASI members to show off their creativity while celebrating snowsports and the wonders of winter. Each submission lets snow pros vie for the chance to create lasting apparel pieces for their fellow snow pros to rock on the slopes.

“We’re thrilled to see the return of the Phunkshun Wear PSIA-AASI Art Contest for its third year,” said Phunkshun Wear CEO Jay Badgley. “It’s inspiring to witness the incredible artistic talent of our instructors and to provide a platform that showcases their creativity for the entire membership to enjoy.”

The contest features cash prizes, Phunkshun Wear products highlighting the award-winning artwork, and the chance to be showcased at PSIA National Academy in Big Sky, Montana, in April.
