Job Description:

Snowsports Pros provide a positive, fun, and safe environment for skiers/snowboarders to build skills. Snowsports Pros are responsible for the customer experience during lessons and being ambassadors for Mohawk Mountain whenever they are in uniform. Part Time & Full Time Seasonal positions available! Must be able to work Holiday periods, shift flexibility available.

Wage range: $15-$26, wage based on Mohawk Mountain Snowsports Discovery Center Pay Matrix which takes into consideration: credential level, seasons of employment, number of shifts worked per week, etc.

Essential Duties

-Instructs customers on the skills of skiing/snowboarding

-Teaches skier etiquette and safe on-hill behavior

-Friendly and helpful host to mountain guests

-Assists with the set-up and take-down of learning center zones

-Other duties as assigned by the Director of Snowsports

Requirements:

-Must be PSIA/AASI level 1-4 certified

-Able to effectively communicate with customers

-Able to ski and/or snowboard at an intermediate level or above

-Must be able to work for extended periods outside in all weather conditions

-Must be able to stand and work for extended periods

-Must work weekends and holidays

-Must be able to bend and lift up to 50lbs

-Must own appropriate ski/snowboard gear
