Course Description:

Welcome to Tuesday Tea Talks with Stacey Gerrish. These monthly interactive webinars (Zoom Meeting style) will feature special guests in the snowsports industry and are hosted by PSIA-AASI.

In this episode, Stacey welcomes Horst Abraham, who helped develop PSIA's American Teaching Method (ATM) in the 1960s. With its focus on the guest as well as skills, ATM has become the backbone of American ski instruction and influenced snowsports instruction around the world. Horst also wrote "Skiing Right," an early ski education resource, and he was inducted into the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in 2012.
