Course Description:

In this episode, Stacey welcomes U.S. Olympic Skier Laurenne Ross, who raced on the World Cup alpine circuit for 12 years, has been to six World Championships, and competed in the 2014 and 2018 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, and Pyeongchang, South Korea. She's been on two World Cup podiums, has achieved more than 25 top-10 World Cup finishes, and is a three-time U.S. National champion. Beyond skiing, Laurenne has a passion for playing music, drawing, and photography. Her other pursuits have allowed her to connect to the places she's traveled and the people she's met, with a transformed and diverse perspective. In her free time, Laurenne volunteers with Athletes for Hope, Fast and Female, Boys and Girls Club of Oregon, Share Winter, Oregon Adaptive Sports, and Winter4Kids. She also serves on the board of directors for Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation, the club she grew up racing for, and is pursuing a master's degree in architecture at the University of California, Berkeley.
