Course Description (WST-Adaptive Alpine L1 Exam - Mono-Ski/Bi-Ski (1 Day)):
The Adaptive Level 1 Exam is open to all members. Adaptive skiing and snowboarding is the adaptation of alpine and snowboard skills to help folks that may have a cognitive, physical, psychological, or other challenges to also be able to slide on the snow. We use all types of specialized equipment where necessary, but the baseline skills are the same as for skiing and snowboarding. Prior to registering, candidates must complete the prerequisite online exam in the subject they plan on testing for. The on-snow exam consists of multiple portions viewable through the Adaptive Certification Pathway Details. Successful candidates will receive their Adaptive Level 1 Certification.
