Course Description:

Introduction to Skiing Biomechanics tackles the weeds of complex topics and aims to present them in an accessible way. While principles of mechanics, anatomy, and kinesiology are foundational to ski instruction, they can be daunting to introduce to a clinic group or mention in a certification assessment. In this presentation, Dr. Joe Kagan, PT, DPT, CSCS, will tailor these topics so that ski instructors leave prepared to apply critical concepts in movement science to their personal training and instruction. Joe is a licensed physical therapist in Aspen, CO, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and an Alpine Examiner in Central and Rocky Mountain Divisions.
