Course Description (CEN Alpine Level III Tech/M.A Online Module):

The Level 3 Tech/MA exam is one of the three steps in the certification process. The online exam can be completed remotely through a 30-minute video call. The exam allows instructors to demonstrate their ability to describe, analyze, and critique expert-level skiing relative to the PSIA National Standards for Level 3 Certified Instructors. Candidates will perform movement analysis with two examiners using expert-level video and reflect technically on their skiing. The candidate will receive a written evaluation by the end of the event day.

Scoring shall be completed and submitted to the division and candidate within 24 hours of the meeting.

Course Description (CEN Alpine Level II Tech/M.A Online Module):

Candidates must sign up for an L2 MA/Tech Webinar session and conduct live movement analysis. This ½ hour opportunity is for a candidate to conduct a "live" M. A. session. Candidates register for a specific time slot. They will be offered a video to review- they can ask for that video to be played up to 3 times, may ask for slow motion and freeze frame to make their case for establishing the skier's use of mechanics, and the 5 Fundamentals. They may be asked to offer a lesson plan or exercise to address issues identified in the M.A. portion.
