DYST Live takes the content of the popular on-line "Did You See That?" M.A. course, and brings it into the classroom.

"Did you see that"* is an interactive, practical educational event for Level I, II, or III certified members interested in further developing their movement analysis skills. This event consists of two, three-hour sessions in an e-learning format utilizing video segments of skiers at various levels of development, using the OEP movement analysis model to develop a prescription for change.

Participants will observe and learn from the Ed Staff facilitator, contribute to movement analysis through Ed Staff guidance, and develop movement analysis followed by prescription for change and lesson/coaching development.

*This course does require attendance at all sessions and may include require homework assignments. These requirements must be met to complete the course successfully and receive credit.

The PSIA-AASI standards speak about developing "Trust" with the student-teacher dynamic-- but how is trust actually formed? How do you know when trust is established, and what factors enhance or detract from a trusting relationship?

In this one-day workshop, participants engage in a series of trust-building activities, and through guided reflection, identify the components that contribute to establishing trust. You'll assess the quality and intensity of the trust, and explore a variety of means to reinforce the trust that has been established. In the final phase of the course, participants will identify what value trust adds to lesson delivery, and how to avoid abuse of that power.

PDS Courses are typically delivered in a single day, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but may be build in modules that occur over successive evenings. Check your event confirmation for the format of the course you are registering for.
