The Professional Ski Instructors of America and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI), in partnership with Vail Mountain and the Town of Vail, Colorado, will host the Interski Congress April 4-9, 2027, welcoming snowsports instructors from around the world to share the association’s vision to create lifelong adventures through education.

The application process to identify the discipline coaches for the 2024-28 PSIA-AASI National Team is now open. A PSIA-AASI Team coach is a collaborator, influencer, and inspiration to help others achieve their potential. They will play a critical role in the PSIA-AASI strategic education alignment initiative and help unite around the values, goals, and Ends identified by the association.
Hall of Fame snowsports instructor Gwen Allard, one of the world’s visionaries in the field of adaptive instruction and a pioneer for raising the profile for women in snowsports teaching, died on Nov. 28 at the age of 86.
