K2 Unveils New Mindbender 108Ti Ski and Mindbender 130 Boot

Available now, PSIA-AASI Official Supplier K2 introduces the new Mindbender 108Ti ski and Mindbender 130 boot – both envisioned by K2 and freeski star Sean Pettit.

Building to the success of K2’s Mindbender collection, first introduced in 2018, K2 Global Marketing Manager Thomas Johnson said the new products are the result of, “Our goal to convey our vision of freeriding through a cohesive product assortment.”

“We knew that skiing cannot just be one thing,” Thomas said. “The word ‘Freeride’ holds different meanings to skiers in Vermont, Whistler, Chamonix, and Niseko. We saw the necessity to move forward and continue to push skiing, and the gear built for it, to new levels.”

He said that in order for K2 to achieve that goal, “We put our heads together to find a bit of that heritage flavor and called in the big dogs!”

“Working alongside long-time Team rider Sean Pettit to bring this project to life, we looked to the iconic Merlin 7 from 1998 for a nod to the Salad Days,” Thomas said. “We wanted to move forward without losing sight of where we came from, and we’re pretty damn proud of the outcome. We proudly present the Mindbender 108Ti and Mindbender 130 Boot as envisioned by K2 and Sean Pettit.”

Mindbender ski features include: mid-fat waist width, long turn radius, All-Terrain Rocker profile, and Titanal Y-Beam construction working together to create a stable, unflinching freeride ski that wants to be pushed. Lengths: 179 and 186cm. Dimensions: 136-108-125mm.
