Sneak Peek: Atomic, Lange, Tecnica Preview New Alpine Ski Boots
PSIA-AASI Official Suppliers Atomic, Lange, and Tecnica are providing a first look at some of the high-performance ski boots you can start to plan to purchase at member-specific pricing next season.
Here are three of the top new products.
Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD
For the 2023-24 season, Atomic presents the next generation of its narrow Hawx Ultra XTD line, blurring the line between all-mountain skiing and freeride touring. Featuring notable material and technical updates, the top-end Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 130 and Hawx Ultra XTD 115 W each are equipped with the BOA® Fit System that securely wraps the foot for an even more comfortable and precise fit. Both are perfect crossover boots combining the feel and all-mountain skiing power of Hawx with touring walkability.
Lange Shadow
The Shadow range brings a new level of power transfer, vibration absorption and comfort to all-mountain skiing. The Assisted Performance System amplifies your input to the boot through the mechanical advantage of Lange’s Dual Pivot and Suspension Blade technology. The design boosts input by up to 26 percent, giving you more power and control with less energy. The boot’s clean, consistent flex is combined with increased shock absorption through the shell for enhanced snow feel and contact so you can ski longer and more efficiently.
Tecnica Cochise
Tecnica is expanding their offering in the freeride category with the addition of a high-volume Cochise to round out Tecnica’s fit story with five last options in alpine boots, ranging between 98-103mm. Tecnica is continuing to lead the ski boot market in sustainability – first through their Recycle Your Boots (RYB) program, and by introducing recycled materials in their ski boots. The entire Cochise series will include recycled components in much of the liners and trims from materials recycled through the RYB program and other sources without sacrificing the boots’ fit, feel, durability, or strength.
