PSIA-AASI and Cardo Systems Announce Partnership
The Wireless Intercom System Lets Skiers and Riders Communicate on the Slopes
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (September 28, 2022) – The Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI) recently partnered with Cardo Systems, makers of wireless intercom solutions, providing instructors a new breed of real-time feedback to one another and to their students.
Cardo Systems allows groups to seamlessly communicate with each other hands-free and on the go, without the need for an internet or cellular signal. After inventing the motorcycle communication market in 2004, Cardo Systems is now the world’s market leader with close to a million units in use in the United States alone. They now plan to introduce the same technology to skiers and snowboarders.
The Cardo Systems hands-free PACKTALK Outdoor allows instructors to talk with each other as they train or provide real-time feedback to their students during lessons. The system creates a living connection that does not require cellular data or Wi-Fi coverage.

Schnitzer explained that ski and ride schools and instructors who choose to use the Cardo PACKTALK Outdoor device can stay in constant connection to others, making on snow experiences more fun, efficient, and safe.
