The 2024-25 Event Calendar Is Live!

The PSIA-AASI Event Calendar is updated with regional events for the 2024-25 season. Be sure to check it out and start planning for the winter ahead. Grab your spot now – space is limited at some events!

Below are some highlighted events from across our regions. Register now, and let’s get the season going!

CENTRAL
Central is returning to Nub’s Nob for our Fall Opener, Saturday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 8, with continuing education, along with Level I exams and specialist offerings. This year we’re trying something different, applying a “convention” format to the event. Participants will be able to select from course offerings on snow, in morning, lunch-and-learn, afternoon, and twilight education sessions. Register for alpine; register for snowboard. Also, save the date for the inaugural Central Connect meeting online, Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. CT.

EASTERN  
This winter marks the 50th anniversary of the first certification exam as PSIA-E. To commemorate this milestone, the Golden Learniversary, Eastern is headed back to New York’s Belleayre Mountain, site of that first exam, for a special educational event, as well as Alpine and Snowboard Level I Assessments, and a celebratory party. All 50+-year members will be invited to attend the education event at no cost, 40+-year members get a 40% discount, and there are tiered discounts down to 10% off for 10-year members. INTERMOUNTAIN
Intermountain’s Fall Rally is set for Saturday, Oct. 19, from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. MT at the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah. There will be an exciting array of activities along with classroom education. Get a jumpstart on your preseason education with topics that will activate your body, provoke your interest, and inspire your teaching. Fall Rally is multi-discipline and designed to build and celebrate our entire snowsports community! Register now!

NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN
Fall Fest, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, is a full-day event hosted by St. Luke’s Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Hospital. This new hospital is partnering with NIM to provide preseason education in topics such as cross-disciplinary approach to snowsports, boot fitting, and exercise prescription for injury prevention, especially for those individuals who are dealing with joint replacement or are on the road to joint replacements. NORTHERN ROCKY MOUNTAIN
Join our community of instructors for Fall Fest at Big Sky Resort for two and a half days (Friday, Dec. 6, to Sunday, Dec. 8) of multi-discipline snowsports clinics and après ski festivities guaranteed to get you primed for the season! Sessions focus on what it takes to be a GREAT instructor, including on-snow skills, teaching, creativity, alignment, working with kids, and other ways of sliding on snow. The talented team leading the sessions at Fall Fest include National Team members Zoe Mavis, AJ Oliver, Katie White, Matt Larson; alumni team members Brenna Kelleher, Chris Fellows, Brent Amsbury; and members of NRM’s Education Teams. NORTHWEST
Fall Seminar, on Saturday, Nov. 2, will be completely virtual this year using the Zoom platform This ensures everyone has access to this great program, from Fairbanks to Ashland, Hurricane Ridge to Blacktail!

You’ll be able to choose from a wide range of topics for your morning and afternoon sessions; the topic descriptions and details are available when you register. We look forward to “seeing” you there.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN
Join Rocky Mountain for an exhilarating two-day Season Kickoff event, during which you’ll be able to refresh your riding skills and deepen your understanding of the Learning Connection Model. This early season clinic is designed to help you get back into the groove while offering personalized coaching to enhance your skiing or snowboarding. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to connect with instructors from across the region.

The event will be held at Breckenridge from Tuesday, Nov. 19, to Thursday, Nov. 21. Register by Monday, Oct. 28, to take advantage of our first-chair pricing of $310. Don’t miss your chance to jumpstart your season!

WESTERN
Join Western for Fall Rally, Saturday, Oct. 26, from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Olympic Valley Convention Center, in Palisades Tahoe, for a host of speakers and presenters designed to fire you up for the winter season! This year’s presenters include former Alpine National Team member and Vice President, Mountain Sales & Schools, Aspen Skiing Company Jonathan Ballou, guest speakers from the American Institute for Avalanche Research & Education, the Central Sierra Snow Lab, and an interactive session on using photography and videography to support training and development with our very own Mèlanie Saucier. There will be snacks, swag, and surprises you won’t want to miss.
