Giro Launches Two New Helmets: Tor and Tenaya
PSIA-AASI Official Supplier Giro recently announced the expansion of its market-leading helmet line to include two key new models: the Tor Spherical and the Tenaya Spherical helmet.
Whether you line up with friends for fresh morning corduroy or meet up with your crew to ski and ride off-piste, the Tor Spherical and Tenaya Spherical helmets lay down the perfect blend of fit, protection, temperature control, and styling.
These helmets feature Spherical Technology. This ball-and-socket design is powered by Mips® and reduces rotational energy during certain impacts through Giro’s proprietary two-part construction. Although Tor and Tenaya boast a slim profile, these helmets utilize two separate liners and they’re designed to manage a wide range of impacts for comprehensive energy management.
The exterior shell features a unique hybrid construction with an upper hard shell merged to a lower in-mold design. This combination integrates the benefits of durable, multi-season use with lightweight mobility.
These helmets are designed to take comfort to the next level. For managing all weather conditions, Giro integrates its adjustable Thermostat Control to give you the power to regulate your temp. Additionally, the InForm 2 Fit System and Fidlock magnetic buckle allow easy adjustability (even while wearing bulky gloves).
Every detail is carefully considered, including the comfort liner. The Tor helmet boasts a breathable Wikpro Grid Fleece liner and Tenaya benefits from a PlushMax liner for maximum comfort and advanced wicking.
