Apply for Blizzard Tecnica’s Women2Women Scholarship
Apply today for PSIA-AASI Official Supplier Blizzard Tecnica’s second annual Women2Women (W2W) Education Scholarship.
The scholarship is for women looking to advance their education in snowsports. Blizzard Tecnica will accept applications until Dec. 20, 2021.
Whether you are interested in avalanche safety, ski instruction, guiding, health/wellness or other related coursework, the application parameters are relaxed to encourage all women to pursue their individual ski goals. The grants awarded will include coursework fees AND a pair of Blizzard skis and Tecnica boots.
“These courses are not only helping women advance their mountain skills or careers, they’re also empowering them in their everyday lives and allowing them to inspire other girls and women to know they can do or be anything they want,” said Blizzard Tecnica’s Global W2W Project Leader, Leslie Baker-Brown.
Education is a key pillar for the program. Last year the W2W Education Scholarship awarded 18 recipients over $15,000 in scholarships and equipment.
“This program has pushed me to take that next step, to study and practice to take the (PSIA-AASI) clinics and the exam. I probably would have not done this on my own,” said Uschi Hall, who used her scholarship to take the PSIA-AASI Rocky Mountain Adaptive Alpine Functional Skiing Assessment. “I’m absolutely looking forward to teaching this winter.”
