High Fives B.A.S.I.C.S. Videos Help You Promote Safety

High Fives is celebrating the 11th year of their B.A.S.I.C.S. program – Being Aware Safe In Critical Situations – with a video series that highlights the importance of safety while skiing and riding. The videos are super informative, beautifully done, and feature top snowsports athletes such as Daron Rahlves, Alana Nichols, and PSIA Alpine Team member Heidi Ettlinger.

“None of this would have been possible without the PSIA team’s support,” said Program Manager Dani Trujillo.

High Fives focuses on preventing life-changing injuries and provides resources and hope if they happen. The non-profit organization since 2009, High Fives has helped countless injured athletes and veterans get back to doing what they love. The Foundation aims to be the leader of education and recovery of life-altering injuries in outdoor action sports.

“We love each and every one of the over 300 High Fives Athletes that we serve, but no matter how much we care for each of them, our ultimate hope would be to never have to support another individual – that no one else have to endure a life-changing injury. The B.A.S.I.C.S. program aims to highlight the importance of safety in outdoor sport to hopefully prevent those injuries from ever happening in the first place,” said #HighFivesFounder and CEO, Roy Tuscany.
