What inspired you to become an instructor? The opportunity to make new friends.

What stands out about your teaching? Creativity and good snacks.

What’s one accessory, tool, or education resource you keep in your pocket? A portable thermometer for “doing science” with kids.


Is there an “insider tip” you’d share with new members? Remember our job is to instill a love of skiing, not a mastery of it!


Describe a teaching or learning experience that sticks out in your mind. My Alpine Level I exam – using an airplane metaphor to explain axes of rotation.
