Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and physically capable Ski School Director / General Manager to join our team at Inside Ski Training Center. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the operation and programming of our facility. The General Manager creates a fun, safe, and structured environment for our students. You will also hire, manage, and train staff, develop marketing strategies, and ensure the facility runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Greet students and welcome them to the facility
• Manage scheduling of lessons
• Point of sale management
• Respond to inquiries regarding the lessons
• Manage and communicate with staff and lead staff meetings
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Create schedules
• General cleaning and maintenance of facility
• Follow all health and safety guidelines
• Participate in industry events and have active involvement in Professional Ski Instructors of America

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a general manager or assistant manager preferred but not required
• Must at least be a Level I Certified instructor
• Excellent communication & organization skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work independently, problem solve, and think creatively
• Able to follow all health and safety guidelines and ensure the safety of students at all times
• Positive and encouraging attitude
• Able to work on your feet and ski on the ski simulator for extended periods, some heavy lifting required
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends
• Must be able to speak fluently, write and read in English
