Course Description:

Teaching snowsports is complex and leaning on fellow snow pros for support is helpful. In this session, you'll learn how mentoring programs create opportunities for personal and professional growth, including how to navigate organizational culture, understand how to perform the job, move through a professional development pathway, and work on personal challenges. Our expert panel will share experiences and stories of developing and maintaining mentoring programs, and the positive impact they have on building trust, respect, diversity, and efficiency in the workplace and beyond.

This 90-minute session will give you the knowledge to: 1. Design a mentoring program that targets the unique attributes, strengths, and deficits of your school. 2. Develop and maintain a mentoring program. 3. Discuss the positive impact mentoring programs can have on your school.
