Course Description:

Take your skiing to the next level--no snow required. This half-day indoor session blends two powerful training tools: revolving slope and SkyTech simulators. Participants will explore how each platform supports the development of alpine fundamentals, offering a unique opportunity to isolate, refine, and repeat movement patterns.

The session begins with guided demonstrations on both machines, followed by focused practice primarily on the revolving slope, with additional rotation through the SkyTech simulator. With small group sizes, participants receive individualized coaching, targeted feedback, and time to experiment with movement changes that directly translate to on-snow performance.

Through repetition, observation, and discussion, participants will deepen their understanding of cause-and-effect relationships in skiing and leave with clear strategies for continued improvement.

A moderate to high level of fitness is recommended, as participants will engage in repeated short bursts of high-intensity activity.

Learning Experiences:

Specific activities will vary based on group needs and will typically include:

• Guided demonstrations of both simulation platforms

• Individual practice sessions on the Revolving Slope (primary focus)

• Supplemental practice and movement exploration on the SkyTech simulator

• Repetitive task-based training to refine fundamental movements

• Peer observation and group discussion to support movement analysis

• Clinician-led feedback connecting simulator work to on-snow application

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, successful participants will be able to:

• Apply alpine fundamentals in a controlled simulation environment

• Identify and describe cause-and-effect relationships in their skiing

• Implement targeted movement changes through repetition and feedback

• Transfer insights from simulator training to on-snow performance
