Course Description:
Designed for Level 2 and Level 3 Instructors with responsibilities as trainers at their home ski and ride school, the Trainer's Bootcamp utilizes Learning Outcomes, Assessment Activities, and Assessment Criteria from the Alpine Level 2 Certification Exams to help participants gain insights in how to guide instructors beyond the beginner trails in both their personal skiing and coaching acumen. The two day format focuses on Movement Analysis, Technical Understanding, Teaching, and Skiing performance to aid trainers in assessing the needs of their fellow instructors and to develop methods to guide their colleagues to becoming better snow sports professionals. This course is a great way to develop best practices for encouraging and developing ski instructors to become more skillful in their craft. It is recommended for any trainer but specifically those with ambitions for Central Region Education Staff.
