Course Description:
Did you know 1 in 4 people in the US have a diagnosed disability? With that in mind, you've probably taught more adaptive lessons than you thought. This course will look at Teaching, Technical, and People Skills through the lens of Adaptive athletes to better teach those who we encounter with disabilities. In addition, we will explore how looking at Adaptive athletes actually refines our skills for able-bodied guests through movement analysis, shared discipline fundamentals, and some mock teaching.
