Course Description:

This event is for participants that have at least a novice understanding of Telemark skiing. This event will review the components of a Telemark turn and how these basic movements can be taught successfully to diverse styles of students. Creative activities, small progressions, exercises coupled with movement analysis to target the concerned areas of students will allow people to learn to teach effectively. The group's level will dictate the areas we teach in, all levels will be explored. Must be able to Telemark on blue square terrain.

If you will be pursuing Telemark Level I Certification, please be sure to complete the online professional knowledge exam prior to the on snow evaluation. The Telemark Level I Professional Knowledge Exam is available on the National eLearning website under "Exams" and "Eastern Division" scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Telemark Level I Professional Knowledge Exam.
