Course Description:
About This Course
Prep Courses are designed to help you arrive at your assessment day confident, prepared, and clear on what examiners are looking for. Led by PSIA-AASI Western Region Education Staff, this course provides a focused day of preparation for the CS1 credential, covering the activities, standards, and performance expectations you will encounter.
What You Will Gain
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
• Describe what examiners look for in the CS1 credential
• Demonstrate your current performance and identify key development areas
• Leave with a targeted preparation plan for assessment day

Designed for Children's Specialist instructors registered or planning to register for the CS1 credential.
This course is excellent preparation for the CS1 credential.
Prerequisites:
• Current PSIA-AASI membership and Level 1 certification in your primary discipline
What to Bring

• Appropriate equipment for all terrain included in the course
• Helmets are mandatory
