Course Description:
Enhance your ability to help clients progress through skilled movement analysis. This clinic sharpens your eye for cross country skiing mechanics, helps you identify the movement patterns that affect performance, and builds practical teaching solutions.
Through guided observation and practical exercises, you will strengthen your ability to spot key technical elements and communicate corrections clearly, keeping the connection between what you see and what you say.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this clinic, participants will be able to:
- Observe with a plan - Use a repeatable movement analysis process to describe what a cross country skier is actually doing, separating observation from opinion.
- Find the cause, not the symptom - Identify which movement pattern is driving the outcome you see, and prioritize the one change that will help most.
- Deliver usable feedback - Give a client clear, specific feedback plus a task they can attempt immediately.
- Check for change - Re-observe after the task and adjust your prescription based on what you see.
- Cross-country specific. Open to all certification levels. Earns continuing education credit (CEUs).
