Course Description:

Curious about cross-county, but not ready to take the plunge into a dedicated event? This is your opportunity to dip your toes in a different kind of skiing. Spend your morning on the cross-country trails and afternoon on the alpine slopes and discover the crossover between the two disciplines. No previous cross-country experience is required.

Learning Experiences:

Specific activities will vary depending on the group's needs and environmental conditions and typically include:

• A morning cross-country experience on each day, followed by an afternoon on alpine slopes.

• An overview of Cross-Country and Alpine Technical Fundamentals

• Discover the crossover between the discipline in guided activities from a Cross-Country and and Alpine Ed Staff member.

Learning Outcomes:

• A basic understanding of Cross-Country Technical Fundamentals

• Improved Cross-Country and Alpine Technical skills

Prerequisite(s): Alpine Level I Certified

Equipment/Materials Needed: Classic Cross-Country equipment and Alpine equipment are required.
