Course Description:

Take your riding into challenging terrain and build the tools to feel confident, adaptable, and playful in the trees and on steeper pitches. This two-day camp focuses on strategies for managing line choice, speed, and tactics while developing the skills that help snowboarders thrive in off-piste environments. Whether you're looking to increase comfort in steeper terrain, improve efficiency in tight spaces, or explore new tactics for freeriding, this camp provides coaching, feedback, and exploration in a supportive learning environment.

Participants must have the ability to ride confidently and safely in intermediate terrain and conditions, including steeps, bumps, off-piste, and freestyle features.

Learning Experiences:

Specific activities will vary depending on group, terrain, and conditions and typically include:

• Explore tree runs and steep pitches with clinician guidance to build terrain management strategies.

• Practice tactical line choice for controlling speed, creating rhythm, and maintaining flow in variable conditions.

• Engage in group discussion and reflection to connect technical concepts with practical riding applications.

• Receive individualized coaching and feedback on movement patterns that promote adaptability and efficiency.

• Ride in a supportive team environment that encourages experimentation, peer learning, and shared problem-solving.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, successful participants will be able to:

• Demonstrate tactical choices that manage speed and flow in trees and steeps.

• Apply effective movement patterns for adaptability in variable snow and terrain.

• Select terrain and lines that support safe, efficient, and fun riding.
