Snowboard L1 Prep Course
About This Course
Prep Courses are designed to help you arrive at your assessment day confident, prepared, and clear on what examiners are looking for. Led by PSIA-AASI Western Region Education Staff, this course provides a focused day of preparation for the Level 1 assessment, covering the activities, standards, and performance expectations you will encounter.
What You Will Gain
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
• Describe what examiners look for in the Level 1 assessment
• Demonstrate your current performance and identify key development areas
• Leave with a targeted preparation plan for assessment day

This event supports preparation for the PSIA-AASI National Certification Standards in the following skill areas. Not all levels listed below may be applicable to every participant -- focus on the level(s) most relevant to your current certification goals.

Designed for Snowboard instructors registered or planning to register for the Level 1 assessment.
This course is excellent preparation for the Level 1 assessment.
Prerequisites:
• Current PSIA-AASI membership and ability to safely ride all terrain through easy Black Diamond
What to Bring
• Relevant Performance Guide (available at thesnowpros.org)
• Appropriate equipment for all terrain included in the course
• Helmets are mandatory
