Course Description:

Prerequisites: Current PSIA-AASI Membership, Alpine Level I Certification or Level III Certification in another Discipline, Alpine Level II Professional Knowledge Exam

Course Description (CEN Alpine Level II Tech/M.A Module (on-snow)):

During the on-snow/ in-person Tech/MA Exam Module, candidates will have multiple opportunities to conduct movement analysis and have technical discussions about both their own performance in specific skiing tasks as well as the skiing performance of their peers. Done on-snow, the Examiner pair will set up a skiing activity for each candidate to ski. Following this activity, each candidate will discuss his or her personal performance in the activity and then observe and conduct MA on a fellow candidate skiing the same activity. At that time, the candidate making the observations will lead a technical discussion with the Examiners and will be asked clarifying and qualifying questions about their remarks. The process will repeat so that each candidate has multiple opportunities to conduct MA and engage in technical discussions.
