Course Description (Multi General Education Event):

This on-snow workshop is designed for instructors of multiple disciplines (Alpine, Snowboard, and Telemark). We will explore the similarities in teaching and communication techniques and how to translate fundamentals between disciplines. Participants may be asked to share and demonstrate their discipline's fundamentals and teaching techniques. This is a medium-high intensity event on intermediate terrain.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the workshop, learners should be able to:

• Understand PSIA/AASI's focus on People Skills, Teaching Skills, and Technical Skills
• Distinguish the differences and similarities of each discipline's technical fundamentals
• Adapt current practices to include more creative people and teaching fundamentals
