Technical Skills (Movement Analysis)

Description:

This casual-yet-rich in-person seminar is built around three skier video clips (Level I, II, and III suitability) to promote thoughtful discussion, analysis, and shared insights. Participants gather in a relaxed setting--complete with coffee and donuts--to deepen their movement analysis skills while watching, discussing, and deconstructing skier performance in a supportive group environment.

Not everyone is required to present--ideal for those who learn best by listening, observing, and contributing when inspired.

  • Expand vocabulary and precision in describing skier performance.
  • Learn from peers across levels of experience.
  • Practice applying the Skills Concept and Alpine Fundamentals across certification levels.

Experiences:

  • Collaborative analysis led by a facilitator.
  • Optional presentation opportunities for participants.
