Course Description:
Building on the format of our popular online Remote MA courses, this on-snow day exploring the full range of Movement Analysis will mirror the structure established in the online courses. Haven't taken the online course? No worries, you can still participate in the on snow!
During this clinic, a specific activity will be defined and demonstrated, with participants collectively coming up with key aspects of equipment and body performance needed to successfully perform that activity. Multiple iterations will then be observed, building on each previous one, with Observations, Evaluations, and Prescriptions to follow based on what is observed. Participants will have multiple opportunities to share with the group and receive input from the clinician to practice observing and sharing their perspectives.
Key Learning Outcomes:
- multiple opportunities to observe and share in front of and within the group
- evaluations between body movement and tool/snow outcomes will be explored over multiple iterations
- prescriptions will be directed toward more accurate and efficient performance of a defined activity
