Description:
In this engaging webinar with PSIA-AASI Cross Country National Team Member Justin Arndt, get all you questions answered about equipment. Learn the differences between skate, classic, and touring AND how to size and find equipment. As a bonus, a technical dive will be taken to understand how different equipment impacts the mechanics and biomechanics of XC skiing, helping you choose the right equipment for the kind of XC skiing you want to do!
Learning Outcome(s): Participants will:
- Learn the difference between skate, classic, and touring equipment.
- Learn how to size students and what companies PSIA partners with for pro deals.
- Learn how different equipment impacts the biomechanics of skiing (at a basic/L1 level) and what is possible with the given equipment.
- Have an opportunity to ask questions relating to XC on a broad scope.
