Course Description:
The Member School Conference brings together training directors, school directors, supervisors and trainers from PSIA-NW member schools to address the business and leadership side of snowsports education.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this event, participants will be able to:
- Apply divisional and national direction - Describe current PSIA-AASI and PSIA-NW priorities and how they affect your school's programs.
- Improve your school's operation - Identify at least one practice from the conference to adopt in hiring, training, scheduling or product design.
- Build your professional network - Connect with Training Directors and school leadership across the division for ongoing problem-solving.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Leadership and staff development - Sessions on hiring, retention, staff training design, mentoring and building a training culture.
- Divisional alignment - Updates on certification pathways, CEU policy, National Standards changes and how they affect your school's training plan.
- Peer exchange - Structured discussion with leaders from other schools facing the same challenges.
