Course Description:
Looking to tune up your skiing, work on your stride, or troubleshoot lessons that have been challenging this season? Choose your own adventure. This is a day clinic tailored to your needs - whether you want to work on personal skiing, prepare for an upcoming assessment, or workshop teaching and people skills.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this clinic, participants will be able to:
- Refine your own technique - Apply targeted feedback to improve balance, efficiency, and control in your stride.
- Troubleshoot a real lesson - Bring a challenging teaching situation from this season and leave with a specific approach for it.
- Adapt to the student in front of you - Select teaching methods that address common cross-country learner challenges.
- Prepare for assessment - Practice key technical and teaching tasks and receive feedback on where you sit against the standard.
- Cross-country specific. Open to all certification levels. Earns continuing education credit (CEUs).
